SLAM! Episode XXIII - The Road Begins
    By Trent McKnight on 01/08/12

Good evening Knight-Watchers. We are just a week removed from the Shicksal PPV in Berlin, Germany. The next stop on our Tour was none other than the beautiful Qatar, Doha. Amazing fans abound, and they were treated with an excellent show. Slam's Twenty Third episode would see much action as a fitting follow up to the pay per view.

In action was the Double Champion himself, Superstar Vince Jacobs, in defense of the Keystone Title against the Family Keeling's Tony Sharp. Polar and Hotstreak of the NightLife's USA Chapter put their Dynasty Tag Team titles on the line against the Creede Brothers. Two men from the Six-Man Rumble Match at the PPV faced off for the first time in the history of the NBW. Tune into the Stream of Slam 23 tonight to catch these matches and much more!

    NBW Presents Shicksal on PPV
    By Trent McKnight on 12/28/11

Good evening Knight-Watchers. The crew and wrestlers are hard at work catching up on some much needed rest following last night's amazing event. Unless you have been living under a rock you should know quite well of what to expect from Shicksal.

Our first ever Infamy Champion Vic Gravender defended his newly won title in a Ladder Match against his former tag partner and friend, Adam Faulkner. Did he succeed or fail? The Dynasty Tag titles were also defended in a four corner tag team match but who came out on top in the end?

Additionally upon request Zed took on Matt Haddon in a long-standing grudge match, but is his new determination enough this time around? And what of the two giants that clashed in the ring in a First Blood Match? Who shed the others' blood first?

Our Main Event was none other than the Double Champion, Superstar Vince Jacobs defending against the winner of the SIX Man rumble. Speaking of the Rumble, the outcome was quite the shocker. Regardless if you were rooting for Keegan, Techno Dragon, Judasbleek, Son of Malta, Tony Sharp, or Derecho it was a great match up and the winner deserved the title shot he had earned. You will have to order or download the pay per view tonight to see who won.

Catch it all on Shicksal's PPV!

    Infamy Title Match
    By Trent McKnight on 12/18/11

Just hours after winning No Brand Wrestling's newest title, The nbW Infamy Championship, in the main event of Slam! From London, England, we have just learned that the new champion Vic Gravender is putting his title on the line against his former tag team partner and best friend, Adam Faulkner. Earlier on in the evening, after Adam Faulkner's victory over Khan, Vic Gravender walked to the ring and challenged his former tag team partner to a match. Adam accepted under the condition that the match be contested under No Disqualification, Falls Count Anywhere. Gravender agreed to the terms and the match was signed.

By the end of the night's festivities, Vic Gravender had won a thirty-man Open Invitational Battle Royale to become the first-ever nbW Infamy Champion. Wanting to prove himself as a fighting champion, Vic Gravender has decided to put his championship on the line for the first time ever. By the rules of the title, any challenger that wrestles for the title will have the option to pick the stipulation for the title match. The original agreed-upon stipulation of No DQ, Falls Count Anywhere has been rescinded and a new stipulation has been chosed by Adam Faulkner. We got a few words with Faulkner regarding the changes.

“Vic Gravender fired the first shot in this war and blindsided me. So I've decided I'm gonna fire right back. Thaddeus Boyle mentioned that the challenger can pick their stipulations for the title match and mentioned what if somebody were to put him in a ladder match? Well... Let's do that. Adam Faulkner vs. Vic Gravender. Ladder Match. NbW Infamy Title hanging above the ring.”

The match was signed off by Thaddeus Boyle and now will be contested as a ladder match. And with this change in rules, we tried to reach Vic Gravender for comment, but would not respond to our calls. His agent, Thomas Keeling, Sr, did let us know his client's thoughts.

“Vic Gravender did us proud by winning that championship! He's off celebrating this title win currently. But rest assured, we aren't stupid in the Family Keeling camp. We see exactly what Faulkner doing. He thinks because he does have the speed advantage, he can climb a ladder faster... keep in mind, though, he's smaller... and he will break way easier...'

SLAM! Episode XXII - A Night of Infamy
    By Trent McKnight on 12/14/11

Hello Knight Watchers. We are down to the end of the line of the first leg of our World Tour. The last stop was Britain, and boy what a packed house that was. All your favorites were in action, some even multiple times. The former friendship turned rivalry with Zed and Matt Haddon jumped up a notch, meanwhile Adam Faulkner took on Khan. The Family Keeling stepped up to the plate with Tony Sharp and Vic Gravender taking on Nightlife USA's Techno Dragon and Plazma. Four tag teams clashed in a massive eight man tag team match while Keegan's student 'The Entertainer' Alfie Button took on the Upper Echelon's Son of Malta.

The highlight of the night was the scheduled Open Invitational Battle Royale for the new Infamy Championship Title. Thirty men walked to that ring, and twenty nine failed to become the last remaining survivor. Who walked out as the NEW and First-ever NBW Infamy Champion? Tune in to SLAM's Twenty Second episode now to find out!

    The SIX - One Down
    By Trent McKnight on 11/25/11

The offices have just learned by order of Thaddeus Boyle, following the brutal attack to Shawn Jessica Hart at the conclusion of our programming on Episode Twenty One of Slam, the spot that was his has been vacated and will soon be replaced. When asked for comments on the matter Boyle responded, 'Unfortunately the injuries suffered by Mr. Hart were quite severe and will put him out of action for months. He is set to undergo a extensive X-Ray next week to check for any facial structure damage.'

It saddens us that the Phenom will not be taking part in the huge SIX Man rumble but one man is surely laughing to the bank, and that man is the current reigning Double Champion, Superstar Vince Jacobs. Without a doubt Hart was a strong contender and threat to the Upper Echelon's leader. We asked Boyle for further comments on the situation, 'It has been a difficult year for the roster, not only with the traveling world tour, but also with Reagan's passing. Some of the guys are seeing this as a time to reach out and grab the brass ring, while others are content with their position. Hart's spot in the SIX will be filled by one of our Superstars that had been considered as one of the SIX men in the first place. We will announce the SIXTH and final member of the SIX, as well as Shawn Hart's replacement, when we arrive in Britain.'

Perhaps Matt Haddon will get his chance at a rematch with SVJ and be included? Or the Savage former World and Blitzkrieg champion RaVage? What about the one that attacked Hart in the first place, Torment? Time will tell, and as Boyle informed us, we will know when we hit Britain. Until then, enjoy the holiday weekend!
